The celebration of Valentines Day is best enjoyed when gifts are exchanged between loved ones.

There is no age limit for Valentine’s Giving. Children and adult alike cherish the sweet thoughts and often sweet gifts.

We often give each other things like:

and much more.

Do you know what your valentine already has and likes? If so, do they have a wonderful collection they want to add to or do they already have too many of the same thing.

A child might love stuffed animals but do they really need more? Do they even like the Valentine themed stuffies? You want them to appreciate and cherish what they get from you. You also don’t want your gift to become just another piece of clutter.

How about a gift certificate book filled with various coupons good for the whole year. They pick what they can and will use and can even share the rest of the coupons with others.

Anything Entertainment I’m sure will be in there.

Gift Cards
These are like visa or mastercard prepaid or in specific store only gift cards so they can purchase whatever they want …only up to the amount on the card of course.

Cologne, Perfume, Bath Salts, Lotions, Bubble Bath, Scrubees

If you know what your valentine of choice likes and it happens to be bath gels salts bubble bath or lotions and such then…get them some if it is the scent they like or the type they would use and enjoy.

Lots of children like bubble baths and many an adult does too.
Do be sure you know what he or she likes first though. Otherwise it might sit around as clutter or be given to someone else that will use it.

Food and treats like Chocolates, fruits, teas, cheese basket
Do you know what their favorite food, snack or candy is? How about a beverage even. This is as clutter free as it gets if they like what you buy.
But make sure if they are on a diet you get something they can eat.

Writing
If you have a person who writes a lot of letters or likes to write books then how about a complete Stationary set or a Writer’s Kit?
There is a lot of beautiful stationary available with envelopes, letterhead, maybe a pen set, and they come in a nice gift box or case oftentimes.

For writers you could get a writer’s journal and pens that are erasable. Just look where ever writer’s supplies are sold for ideas.

Scrapbooking
What if your valentines love to make photo albums or scrapbooks. Maybe they don’t have any but you know they love to collect photos or pictures of things.

Try getting a scrapbook or a complete scrap booking kit. There are all kinds of scrapbook themes. There are also many styles, colors and themes for photograph storage and viewing. Including some awesome Digital photo frames.

And Remember this…Depending on your beliefs about Valentine’s Day….Kids are right up there on the list of Valentine’s receiving.

You could take a child to a theme park or a zoo if you want to do something together. Spend time playing with them. Anything that you can do for an adult valentine can be done with a child except of course if you are only into Valentine’s for the Romantic end of it.

Ghost
Is a love story with a sad note but it is a Great love story none the less. Has a bit of thrill in it and a lot of devotion. Starring Patrick Swayze, Whoopi Goldberg, and Demi Moore.

Dirty Dancing
A 17 year old on vacation with her parents meets the hotel dance instructor from whom she learns to dance, experiences a bit of life and love. Carrys nostalgic heat and wonderful sentiment. A very well done and sweet moments movie. Starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey

You’ve Got Mail
A war between two opposites in business who find out they are not so different as they have already fallen in love online. Nice romantic tale. Starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan

Ok now then let us take a look at some more romantic movies worthy of any day as well as Valentine’s Day.

Chocolat (2000 DVD)
Johnny Depp coated with chocolate, just kidding.
A Mysterious woman and her daughter arrive in a town and mix the town up a bit. The woman known now as Vianna opens a chocolaterie with exotic morsels of chocolate sweets that are made to bring out the best part of a person. Vianna meets a gypsy who comes into town and has a little magic thrown her way as well. There is an intricate and intriguing plot to this movie.

Some stars in this movie are: Juliette Binoche, Victoire Thivisol, Alfred Molina, Johnny Depp

Cinema Paradiso
A star crossed story of love between a boy and his first love. Whom he will never forget even though he doesn’t get to keep her. He does learn to love movies though as the mentor of this fatherless boy has taught him all about movies and provides him with fatherly love and patience. This movie is a tearjerker if you get the original version.

Ok now we have to do the Marathon. What? Well for the men this is a great suggestion for your girl.
Just go with it ok…Get all three of these Meg Ryan movies.

You’ve Got Mail
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in a romantic tale of war in the business world with each other in person yet unbeknown to them they are falling in love over the internet.

A boy gets his father together with a woman through a radio show where he calls in his Christmas wish. It’s a tale of loves lost and new love found. Sweet movie. If you get the DVD it has some great extras.

When Harry Met Sally
A comedy with romance and friendship between a man and woman. The restaurant scene is great and the movie has it’s share of trials and tribulations that a male and female friend might experience together.

A classic for all ages that involves a farm boy and a princess.

Armageddon
Spine tingles as fireballs hit our beloved earth and a space station is destroyed. Full of action and adventure and some tear jerking scenes this movie is great. Love and devotion abounds as well as an odd team taking on a challenge to save humanity. Starring Bruce Willis, Ben Affleck and Liv Tyler

Titanic
The tragedy that struck the titanic so long ago is still full of a wonderful love story. It will bring tears to most people’s eyes. Very Romantic. Starring Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio

Love Actually
There are Eight people involved in their own life struggles including love. While some are falling in love, some are letting love go. If you watch this movie you are sure to relate to somebody in the movie on some level. You will discover the true meaning of love throughout different hardships, love stories and life’s challenges. Starring Hugh Grant, Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Kiera Knightly, and Liam Neeson.

First loves and growing up. Never letting go…
As an old couple looks back at their own love story or is it just a famous story.

There are many more to choose from so…enjoy a nice evening out or a quiet dinner with dimmed lights, and if you  have a fireplace, enjoy a crackling fire to look at as you both snuggle up on Your Sofa.

Watch a movie…Movies tend to be a favorite form of entertainment for a lot of people. Romance can really be abundant and flourish for you on Valentine’s day.

So with those questions in mind one might think… well how much do I spend if I have known this person for this long.

I have my own ideas based on a romantic type attitude and you probably have a few of your own. Here are some that you can choose from and most of them go great with a movie.

• cook or order a gourmet meal
• give a massage or pay for one
• indulge in a shared bubble bath or simply add some bubble bath to a gift basket
• Include some good wine with the evening

Flowers often work out great and it is good to add wine with this gift.
No need to buy an expensive bouquet.

Single roses are great and as I said just add wine or maybe perfume, cologne, bubble bath, stuffed bear or chocolates. Any combination will work.
You could even buy a live potted plant.

Food is great and can Spell out the language of love
Go to a popular restaurant…do book it in advance. Make sure your valentine likes the food you will be eating.
OR
Cook a meal or have it catered at home. Enjoy a good Romantic movie and or some music after you eat.

Make a gift basket that includes a romantic dvd movie, wine, a meal and cozy lighting.

Have a lunch on the beach or the park near some water. You could combine this with a Movie at the cinema.

Give someone a gift card for the workout gym or the health spa or even a hair salon a day early then say this is a pre-valentines day gift and the rest you will get tomorrow…then pick something more to do from this list.

For a budget that has to be carefully monitored try something from here:

• Candles premade or buy a a candle kit and make one
• A photograph album of you or a scrap type book with postcards and photos and mementos
  

A music cd burned on your computer with your favorie songs for each other or of your valentines favorite tunes.

Still there are more ideas and maybe some of the best are here or not mentioned but whatever you decide you can be sure that it will be special because you thought of your valentine friend.

So get some movies and music and something great to eat and enjoy the valentines day together.

Jack Frost is a 1998 show

Stingiest Man in Town VHS is a 1978 film

The animated tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser who is forced to learn the true meaning of Christmas. Based on Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

The Year Without a Santa Claus (Deluxe Edition) is a 1974 show

Another Rankin/Bass animated classic. Santa Claus feels unwanted and decides to take a vacation. It just wouldn’t be Christmas time without HeatMiser and SnowMiser!

There you go a favorites list of classic Christmas movies that many would have to take at least part of these shows with them to a desert island. There are many here I love to watch over an over every Christmas, no matter what, to help me with my Holiday Cheer.

Ok what would you watch at Christmas time if you did not want to watch Traditional Christmas Movies or The Classic Christmas Movies again? Or what if you have worn out some of those Christmas shows.

What do you watch next? The neat thing about this is the holiday season can find it’s way into more movies than we would think even if they don’t actually recreate Holiday cheer. So, keep and open mind with the storylines. So, let’s have a look.

Well here is a list of non christmas movies for you and here is my criteria for the first part. These shows take place During or near the Gift giving season season and you might see things that have to do with the holiday but the Movie is not about Christmas itself.

However I will say that the Christmas setting might be important to some of these movies. So, if the movie focuses on the Christmas Holiday then they don’t belong on this list.

It’s a Wonderful Life – Might not have been meant to be a christmas movie but it was constantly aired by the TV Networks at christmas time. So, technically, its a really good movie that happens to end at christmas time.

Die Hard – Sets the benchmark for its genre. It is on this list because it takes place during a company christmas party and it has themes of getting family together.
Quote from the movie by John McClane: “Got invited to the Christmas party by mistake. Who knew?”
This movie as plotted could happen at any time of the year. It is the type of film that centers aroung  the heist. But one thing that makes it differnt is it is on Christmas Eve.
This manly man was able to further enchant the show with the quote from the movie, “Now i have a machine gun. ho ho ho”. Die Hard has become a very classic watch at Christmas time show for many families.

Die Hard II
John McClane takes on some bad guys that are kidnapping an airport. It has lot’s of action like Exploding airplanes, F-bombs that explode, and an icicle. Won’t elaborate on what is done with the icile.

Ghostbusters II
This movie takes place in New York City during the Christmas season although it does pertain more to New Years Eve.

Louis Tully: “I used to have a roommate, but my mom moved to Florida.”

The Ref a 1994 show that is funny.
Where a guy who takes a snooty disfunctional family hostage.
The burglar has his hands full when he kidnaps this family as there is plenty of fueding going on. He pretends to be their marriage counselor during their Christmas party. It is an amusing movie.

Caroline: “I had this dream…”
Lloyd: “Do we have to do dreams?’
Caroline: “I’m in this restaurant, and the waiter brings me my entree. It was a salad. It was Lloyd’s head on a plate of spinach with his (blank) sticking out of his ear. And I said, “I didn’t order this.” And the waiter said, “Oh you must try it, it’s a delicacy. But don’t eat the (blank), it’s just garnish.”
Dr. Wong: “Lloyd, what do you think about the dream?”
Lloyd: “I think she should stop telling it at dinner parties to all our friends.”

Love Actually – Has a lot of Christmas things happening but it is mostly a romantic comedy.

The Man Who Came to Dinner is a 1942 film.
It Happens at Christmas time but doesn’t have much of anything to do with Christmas.
Could be considered better than It’s a Wonderful Life as it is not as sappy like.
Monte Woolley had a way of showing that telling the truth though painful could be humorous. And he did it way before its time.

The Lion in Winter is a good one with some of the best dialogue in a movie of all times.

Batman Returns
Danny Devito played the pengin in performance that leaves me wondering where does the actor and the character end? Great performance. There are so many Tim Burton films that have christmas but this show is great.
The beginning of the movie has a christmas tree lit up but the lights are ruined by some freaks. The penquins at the end of the show have quite a Happy Holiday surprise for Gotham.

Diner is a 1982 show
During the year 1959 some child hood friends meet at Fell’s Point Diner located in the city of Baltimore for Christmas. Though each of the friends that meet at the diner have impending events in their life that will cause their lives to change forever and soon they just enjoy themselves.
Great period detail and a sparkling screenplay for this semi-autobiographical show.

Nightmare Before Christmas – It’s a Halloween movie though for most part.

I leave Gremlins here so you can decide if the kids should see it…instead of the section on not for everybody.
Gremlins filmed in 1984 has monsters that attacked during Christmas
It blends horror and humor really well. Did anyone see any Gremlins? It is a present for Christmas that becomes a disaster. Without the Christmas parts in this movie it would be probably be just a bit Bad.

Anyway, the boy Billy gets a cool gift that is very exotic from his Dad. It’s technically a Mogwai. But when it gets water on it it will multiply and then terrorize all. The Mogwai is then a gremlin. These gremlins go out Christmas caroling. These show gets pretty heavy.
This film is actually pretty violent for a PG-rated movie aimed at kids.
Written by Chris Columbus who eventually ended up directing the first few Harry Potter movies.

Warning for parents of young kids. Gremlins has some very disturbing monologue for a movie with Christmas. The character Kate describes why she hates Christmas.

Mel and Danny Glover are just fantastic. The Christmas season is going to have some gunfights and what better place than the Christmas tree lot. Christmas decorations had to be put up early to make this film.

Some people don’t like Affleck. Not certain why but if Bruce Willis were to have played the lead role in Reindeer Games more people would have thought it was great.
Despite flaws and some cheesiness it was ok.

On Her Majesty’s Secret Service

Criteria for this section is any movie that is fun to watch and entertaining. That would make a great gift but is not set during the holiday season and has no christmas in the scenes anywhere.

Criteria for this section has some element hidden somewhere about Christmas time period but might not be so enjoyable for all audiences.

The Shining
The Rocky Mountains and the Overlook Hotel. Snow to bad to have visitors during the Christmas break. A simple writer given the hotel temporarily for the season and a hotel that doesn’t like visitors. Scary.

They have a comical all out toy war for one gift for there boys the gloves are off in search of the most popular kids action figure. With a surprise at the end just for one kid and just wait for the super hero ending . Comedy

Jim Carey in How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Deluxe Edition)! — It’s just a touching movie and we all want to fit in somewhere. He’s just little boy now all grown up, turned mean and hated the village of people and wanted revenge. Until a little girl stoled his heart the one he couldn’t share. Comedy

Bill Murray in Scrooged! — I like the movie and actors. Remake business executive gets visited by spirits and changes his life. Comedy

Mcauley Culkin & Joe Pesci in Home Alone — This movie has a great cast with true to life family events, with mishaps in every day life with a big family. Truly funny a must see. Comedy

While being left behind to fend for himself, the house is being scouted by to bumbling robbers not smart enough to get out of there own way but no worries the little guy is a master mind of trickery and innovative defense techniques.

Mcauley Culkin & Joe Pesci in Home Alone 2 – Lost in New York — simply over the top this movie is funny and every bit as good as the first if not better . Comedy

Lots of cash and having fun and finding friendship, with a stores owner and guess who’s back yes those bumbling idiot robbers. And there in New York also looking for the big score and let the adventures begin.

Michael Keaton in Jack Frost — I like this movie because it’s about a fathers second chance to prove his love for his son to defend him as he should it has skiing, hockey watch the movie feel the love frosty will make you feel. This will be a classic.

11.  Twas the Night Before Christmas: This became a hit when filmed in 1974. In the town of Junctionville, people and mice are able to talk and work together.  The mice are very human like and intelligent.

The story starts out with the newspaper publishing an article to Santa. In this letter it states that their is no such thing as Santa and the North Pole.  Santa becomes very angry and sends all the letters unopened back to all the people in the the town and refuses to deliver any of the presents.

Father Mouse realizes who wrote the offending letter to Santa, and he goes to the clockmaker Joshua  to work out a plan.  In this plan they write a letter to Santa and are going to fix the clock to play music for Santa.  It is all well and good till an accident changes things and it is up to the nephew {who wrote the offending letter to fix things}  Of course it has a happy ending, as all good Christmas stories do.

Cute and Recommended:
It is a cute story and entertaining I recommend seeing this film. Children will really like it, I do, Hum

10.  The Little Drummer Boy: Filmed in 1968, and the theme song became a big hit The Little Drummer boy.  This song was originally named,  “CAROL OF THE DRUMS” an old Czech carol written in 1941. Aaron is the drummer boy who had a happy family life, until both his parents were killed.  Aaron became very bitter and hated all of humanity.  In his frustration he played his drums with a fury, it was all he had, except his few friends:

Drummer Boy’s Friends are:
His only friends are: Baabaa the lamb, Samson the donkey, Joshua the camel.  They are inseparable. He met a traveling troup of preforms and the head performer convinced Aaron and his friends to join up. The head man is a mean greedy man,  but Aaron doesn’t find this out till it is too late.

The head man sells Joshua to Three kings who are on the way to see the Babe that was born in Bethlehem. When Aaron finds out his friend Joshua is missing he runs away from the troupe and proceeds to go in search for his friend.  He follows the bright star in the sky that the Wise Men followed.  It is a long hard journey and Baabaa is badly injured along the way.

Aaron now must try to overcome his bitter hatred for humanity so he can get help for his injured friend.  He finds out he must find a gift that will be suitable for the precious Babe, so he can give it to him and then maybe get his help in healing Baabaa. Aaron is unable to find anything and has no money to buy anything,  all he has is his drum and his music.

He finally reaches his destination and still he has no gift but his friend needs help now.  Aaron decides he will play his drum for the Christ Child.

Beautiful Story – wonderful moral:
This is beautiful story and it really shows all of us how being bitter and hateful will destroy you life.  I really love the story and the song, I feel all should see this movie especially children It has a wonderful morel and just a great story.

9. The Bells of St. Mary’s: a classic that was filmed in 1945.
Mother Superior Mary Benedit is a no nonsense rigid head mistress that felt children should be ruled with a firm, strong hand. She loved the children but did not show it. Father O’Malley was the opposite and accomplished what the Mother Superior could not.  A larger and newer boarding school was needed and Mother Superior worked tirelessly toward that goal.

A rich man bought part of the school and was planning on building  on to it for his own purposes.  The Father with his kinder ways was loved by all and he became a friend to the rich man, Mr. Bogardus.  Father O’Malley finally conveniences Mr. Bogardus to let the school have the addition for the children and the school.  There are ups and downs with the children funny and sad.

A real Tear jerker with a message:
This is a touching movie and one in which we all need to be glad we live in this day and age.  I really like this movie it is a tear jerker with a good message.  I highly recommend seeing this movie.

8.  Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Filmed in 1964, one of the classics.
Sam the Snowman tells the story of young Rudolph, because of his very red nose, the other characters didn’t want to let him play in any games and didn’t want to be his friend.  Rudolph, and his friends, Hermey and Yukon Cornelious in traveling to find a place that will accept them for who and what they are, run into the Abominable Snowman.

He tells them of an Island of misfit toys that all are accepted and are having fun. They travel to the island and the toys want Santa to visit and help them.  Rudolph vows to go to The North Pole and see if he can coax Santa to visit and help the toys.  When Rudolph gets to the North Pole on Christmas eve the whole place is fogged-in; and Santa is unable to delivere all the Christmas presents.  Santa looks at Rudolph’s red nose and has an idea and enlists Rudolph’ help.

Cute with a lesson:
This is a very cute, sweet story.  It also has a lesson for children that no matter how a person looks or how different a person is; you should always be nice to them. You don’t know how much a person can help you or become a good friend. It also shows how much pain and hurt being mean to others can cause.

I really liked this movie for the story and the morel it teaches, this is a great classic one that all should see.

7.  Frosty the Snowman: This is very light fair a fun film great for kids.  Some children find a hat and put it on Frosty’s head immediately he begins to dance and  play with the children.  Several days pass the weather gets warmer, Frosty begins to melt, so he tells the children that he must leave.  Frosty tells the children not to cry he will back again some day.

On my list because:
A lovely film and I enjoyed  it.

6.  A Christmas Carol: Filmed in 1984 and is a real classic.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserable miser believes Christmas is humbug and little did he know that his soul was in serious danger. Due to unfortunate happenings in his past he has become a very unpleasant person.  God sent three ghosts to rock Scrooge’s world and to get him to change. the ghost of the past, present and the future. The ghosts and what they show Scrooge are graphic and may be scary for young
children.
Scrooge is played by George G. Scott, Bob Cratchit is portrayed by David Warner.

Why I liked this movie:
I like this movie it tells you what not to be and how not to live.  Touching

5. The Bishop’s Wife:
The Bishop played by David Niven, looses sight of the true meaning of Christmas, his family, his church,  and also looses His faith.  Dudley played by, Cary Grant is sent to earth to help the Bishop as his guardian angel.

Dudley is a real charmer and was hired by the bishop to be his assistant.  Everyone loves Dudley except the Bishop. The church has many building problems and the Bishop is trying to raise money to build a newer bigger cathedral.  progressing through the story Dudley becomes attracted to the Bishop’s wife Julia played by Loretta Young.

The skiting scene needs to be paid attention to it looks like it might belong to another story.
Carry Grant, Loretta Young, David Niven, are the stars of this film classic.

This movie is:
This is a funny, merry, touching story with a happy ending.  This is also  a must see movie for the Christmas holidays. I thoroughly enjoyed this film.

4.  Home Alone:
Kevin is 10 years old and seems to be in every one’s way, always getting into trouble, the wrong place the wrong time. Sometimes getting blamed for things that are not his fault.  Kevin is sent to his room while the rest of the family finishes getting ready for the vacation to Paris.

The family is pretty large and sometimes one persons is not missed right away, especially if their is a lot of confusion and activity going on.  Such is the case in this story, the family arrives in Pairs minus Kevin. Meanwhile kevin is home alone and two half-baked ornery burglars try to break into the house. Kevin the ever resourceful child protects the house.

Why this one is great: This is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
Wildly funny slapstick comedy,  and very heart warming.  I loved this movie.

3.  White Christmas: A great story filmed in the year of 1954.
Bing and Danny were famous song and dance men and WW#2 Vets,  They had a very good career, dancing and singing all over the country.   A General of theirs owned a hotel in Vermont, that was in financial distress.

Danny and Bing decided to help pull the General out of his financial problems by putting on a musical show inviting all of their army buddies.  Of course they succeeded.
Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Dean Jagger, Vera Ellen, starred in this classic.

This is on my best movie list because:
This is a beautiful light story filled with wonderful songs and dance routines. The beautiful popular Christmas song I’M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS was born in this charming film.

I like the singing and dancing in this film you know it is done by the masters of the film world.

2.  Miracle on 34th Street (Special Edition): This is a classic film in the year 1947
This is a very charming tale of  Santa,  who is played by Edmund Gwenn.  It starts out with the Macy’s Day parade and you see Kris Kringle walking by a float and being disturbed by a hired santa who is drunk on the job. Kris Kringle is then hired by the director of the parade,  Maureen O’Hara, to be santa of the department store that she works in.
Starring Edmund Gwrenn, 7 year old Natalie Wood and Maureen O’Hara.

She does not believe in santa and teaches her daughter not to believe.  Meanwhile Kris Kingle is telling everyone that he is the real Santa and to believe in Christmas.  Maureen O’Hara is very upset about this and the story progresses toward a court trial against Kris Kringle; questioning His sanity, his real identity and the identity of Santa Clause If there is such a being.

Why this is one of my favorites:
I like this story because it is a faith builder in the true joy of Christmas and love. Not in the religious sense but non- the- less important that their is more to Christmas then things, but love and hope as well as joy. Believing in the love, hope, joy, and a true caring of people will fill your heart.

1.  It’s a Wonderful Life (60th Anniversary Edition): A 1946 classic film
In the town of Bedford Falls, the bank director; George Bailey, played by Jimmy Stewart is on a bridge considering suicide. His bank is showing a substantial amount of money is missing.  The townspeople and his family are praying for him.

Heaven sends a novice guardian angel, Clarence Oddbody, played by Henry Travers.  Besides helping George,  Clarence is trying to win his wings.  Clarence allows George flashbacks of his family and community, and what happens to all of them if he would not have been born.
Starring: Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed, Lional Berrymore, Henry Travers.

Why this is the best Christmas movie:
This is a very sweet, sappy story,  a real tear jerker and it will thaw the coldest heart.  It is a must see Christmas story one that will warm your heart.  I really like this story and I cry every time I see it.

The holiday season or preparation for the Christmas season and getting into the spirit starts and includes Christmas movies. I know many of us will look at some of the greatest times during the holiday as being spent with Christmas films.

And it just is plain necessary for some with the economy these days to really sit back and just relax enjoy some Christmas time spirit and have some bright eyed days to share.  This is by far one of the most fun and best ways to get into the Christmas mindset.

But no matter what you do to get into the holiday cheer I want to say welcome and from my family to you, here is a have the best holiday ever wish to you and yours. So get ready and dive into some great holiday movie content…

The Christmas lists

Since I know you are just itching to get this rolling let me give a little organizational information first. It is my goal to categorize the Christmas movie lists and reviews into subcategories. This is an attempt to make the information more readable. Some lists have a particular order while others are just by category alone. There is also a section of favorite lists submitted to me via email from readers of this site that I have posted with their permission.

I would also like this to be fun for everyone so I’m humbly requesting your participation in the list building of this site at any point in the year. Just comment on why a particular movie is your favorite or share your personal list of your top Christmas movies. …any amount you would like to share.

Classics will be things like “Rudolph” and “A Christmas Carol” while non Christmas movies for Christmas will be like Die Hard which has been set at Christmas time but is not a Christmas movie. Anyway..

Vic’s ex crime partner – Shane – made a heartbreaking scene. All the happenings prior to the final ending of Shane were were a nice lead in but oh my gosh.

Here are some things that happened prior to Shane’s death:

• his interest in a tiny police car
• the underage clerk at store
• the “Family Meeting” to be with Mara and Jackson

Okay now it gets nasty
Shot on the toilet, yup Shane shot himself on the toilet. What a big mess. Heck, he didn’t even finish his last letter to the world. It gets worse much worse. Mara his pregnant wife and Jackson are found by Farmingtions’ authorities all dressed out on a bed. (oh this is sad) She is holding flowers and the boy is hanging onto that car recently bought by Shane at the store.

Justice
For the end we see Vic at a desk. What? Why not kill him no wouldn’t had the right twist and taste. No deals really either. But alas justice does prevail.

Vic and his dirty deeds land him at a desk job and he loses his family to the witness protection program. Vic gets to watch all the action while he has to type up memos and reports.

But what does Vic do about that?
With the movie ending Vic grabs his gun from his desk, smiles ever so slightly and leaves with a ever familiar growl.

Question is What next?
What is Vic going to do? Settle up with someone?
